Pictures: Stuart McMahon on Flikr. .... at  the height of the storm, winds reached 140mph on Aonach Mor near Fort William. In Glenogle in Stirlingshire gusts of 106mph were recorded.

Nice little article (unlike the winds). Thought it might interest some out there. US and Canada getting hit bad from minus degrees temp and huge ice problems and power outages. Another sign of Global Weather Patterns changing or 'just' a 25-50 year event? Thoughts and opinions?
