Swans, Ducks, Black Headed Gulls and Herring Gulls

The Herring Gulls are becoming an increasing problem in the town. At the pond the will take chicks and swallow them whole. The Swans fight back. Gulls although they can be aggressive are essentially cowards and can be chased off. Interestingly, the ducks have learned to group together and chase them away as well. This is a favourite spot for families to come and feed the birds.
